Jimmy Snyder returns to the Indian staff after completing his Masters of Education degree at the University of Oregon. In 2009 Snyder served as an instructor and head football coach at Kickapoo Nation School in Powhattan, KS.
Snyder is an enrolled member of the Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas. He is an alumnus of the University of Kansas, and Haskell. Coach Snyder started at the linebacker position for the Indians at the junior college level (92-93), and has previously coached at Haskell as a defensive assistant (02-08). In addition to his coaching experience in Kansas, Snyder has experience in his home state of Florida, and California.
Coach Snyder resides in Lawrence, KS with his wife Lori Tapahonso, and their two daughters Briana and Chamisa Edmo.
Snyder is very excited to be coaching at a school, and in a community he holds dear to his heart.
