Directions to Haskell

BY AUTO:

From the East travelers have two options:

To reach the Haskell Football Stadium, Softball Field, and Tony Coffin Sports Complex

Option 1 (non-toll):    

From the Kansas City area, take K-10 West toward Lawrence. Upon entry into the Lawrence city limit K-10 becomes 23^rd street.  Turn left at the Barker Avenue traffic light, and travel south approximately three blocks. 

            Parking for Football games is located in the Haskell Museum and Cultural Center lot.

Continue on for other team sports.  Complete a left hand turn at the flag pole and travel east approximately two blocks.  Parking for Softball, Volleyball, and Basketball games is located in the south lot of the Tony Coffin Sports Complex. 

To reach the Haskell Cross Country Course

From the Kansas City area, take K-10 West toward Lawrence. Upon entry into the Lawrence city limit K-10 becomes 23^rd street.  Turn left at the Massachusetts Street traffic light, and travel south approximately five blocks.  Parking will be located on the left, just past the start line.

To reach the Haskell Football Stadium, Softball Field, and Tony Coffin Sports Complex

Option 2 (toll):

 From the Kansas City area, take I-70 West heading towards Lawrence. Exit at mile marker #202; travel south approximately 3 miles.  Turn left at 23^rd Street and travel approximately 1.5 miles.  Turn right at the Barker Avenue traffic light, and travel south approximately three blocks. 

            Parking is as mentioned above.

To reach the Haskell Cross Country Course

From the Kansas City area, take I-70 West heading towards Lawrence. Exit at mile marker #202; travel south approximately 3 miles.  Turn left at 23^rd Street and travel approximately 1.5 miles.  Turn right at the Massachusetts Street traffic light, and travel south approximately three blocks. 

Parking will be located on the left, just past the start line.

From the West, there is one main option:

BY PLANE:

Kansas City International Airport (MCI) is approximately 1 hour from the Haskell campus.  Ground transportation to Lawrence and the Haskell campus is available at the airport.

LODGING:

Lawrence is home to both Haskell and the University of Kansas.  Although there are a number of choices for lodging, space can be limited.  To secure lodging it is recommended reservations be made in advance.  Below is a list of potential lodging choices.
