Leavenworth, Kansas  – The Indians traveled to University of St. Mary for a Triangular against Kansas Wesleyan University and host school University of St. Mary. Haskell would get swept by Kansas Wesleyan University and lose a close battle with University of St. Mary. 

Haskell (5-9) vs. Kansas Wesleyan University (8-3)

The Indians were swept by the Coyotes in three sets (15-25, 22-25, and 23-25). The Indians were led by Krista Costa (SO/Lawrence, KS) with fifteen kills, hitting .429, also posting ten digs. Following her was Cailey Lujan (SO/Many Farms, AZ), who posted twelve kills, along with eight digs and two service aces. Sophia Honahni (FR/Tuba City, AZ) added ten digs, two assists and MaKaela Largo added ten digs, two kills. Shayla Yazzie (SO/Shonto, AZ) had seventeen assists, six digs and Randi Romero (SR/Laguna Acoma, NM) added thirteen assists, two service aces and four digs for the night.  

Haskell would have 37 kills, 34 assists and 45 digs for the match. While Kansas Wesleyan had 43 kills, 41 assists, and 47 digs.

Haskell (5-10) vs. University of St. Mary (5-6)

The Indians lose in four sets to the Spires (17-25, 19-25, 25-20, and 14-25). The Indians were led by Krista Costa with seven kills, hitting .160, also posting three digs. Following her was Cherstine Mousseau, who posted five kills, along with one dig for the night.  

Haskell would have 23 kills, 19 assists and 33 digs for the match. While USM had 33 kills, 32 assists, and 41 digs. 

The Indians will look to snap their six game losing streak on Tuesday, September 19th at home against Grace University.
