Women's Outdoor Track & Field - Tue, Apr. 11, 2017

Ottawa, Kansas - The Haskell Indian Nations University Women's track and field teams competed at the Ottawa Braves Invitational on Saturday.

Running Events

In the women's 100m dash, Kari Snelding finished 10th with a time of 15.10.

In the women's 200m dash, Taylor Hall finished 16th with a time of 32.99 seconds.

 

Field Events

In the women's Long Jump, Kari Snelding finished 5th with a PR leap of 4.22m (13'10.25").

In the women's Triple Jump, Kari Snelding finished 12th with a PR leap of 8.77m (28'9.25").

 

Throwing Events

In the women's Shot Put, Kaitlyn Cronemeyer (SO) finished 4th with a throw of 10.82m (35' 6") and Elizabeth Davey (JR) finished 10th with a throw of 7.27m (23' 10.25")

In the women's Discus, Elizabeth Davey finished 11th with a throw of 22.35m (73' 4")

In the Javelin finals: Terrilyn Lester finished 2nd with a throw of 31.43m (103' 1"), Kari Snelding finished 3rd with a throw of 28.74m (94' 3"), and Taylor Hall finished 5th with a throw of 26.29m (86' 3").

 

Haskell next Track & Field meet is in Liberty, MO for the Darrel Gourley Open on April 13-15th.
