Thomas Zunie, a junior from Zunie, New Mexico placed first in the 2011 Ottawa Invite held Friday, October 21st. Zunie (Zuni Pueblo) finished the course at Pamona Lake with a time of 27:13. Having led the entire race, this serves as Zunie's first collegiate win.
Zunie's next race will be on the Haskell Cross Country Course on November 5th. The men's start time for the 2011 Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships and NAIA Regional Qualifier is set for 11:15 am.
