
Graduation has come and gone for Haskell Athletics. On Friday, May 11ththirty-two student-athletes, student-coaches, and student-support who participated in athletics for the 2011-2012 year crossed the stage in the Tony Coffin Sports Complex. Ten received baccalaureate degrees while twenty-two earned associate degrees.
Baccalaureate Graduates:

Football – Emery Brown, III
Track (M) – Kyle McHenry
Student-coaches – Takara Bighorse (Volleyball, former volleyball player), Kyle McHenry (Football), Marcus Tyner (Men's Basketball), and Rachel Thompson (Softball, former softball player)

Football – Justin Harter, Ryan Harter, Ian Holiday, Peter Mahoney, Bryan Singer, and Wylie Waters

Graduates included NAIA Academic All-Americans and numerous MCAC Scholar-Athletes. Academic All-Americans must be a junior academically and/or athletically with a cumulative grade point average of a 3.500:

Amber Yazzie, Volleyball (two time) – Indigenous and American Indian Studies
The department also had a graduate walk the hill at Kansas University on Sunday, May 13th. Student-trainer Natalie Sellers received her baccalaureate degree from KU. Student-coach for the men's basketball team Wesley Kosel will receive his baccalaureate degree from KU in December.
