Junior Derek Frick is highest placing Indian with two-round score of 153 (+11)

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – For the second straight day, HINU junior Derek Frick was the highest placing Indian golfer during the Southwestern Christian Invitational, with his second-round 79 (+9). Frick finished the tournament in 31st place with a two-round score of 153 (+11).

Following Frick were teammates Randy Tate and Josh Little Axe, who finished 57th and 61st respectively. Tate shot a second round 85 to go along with his first round 88, which put him at 173 (+31) for the tournament. Little Axe finished with a two-round score of 189 (+47), following his second round 94.

The HINU golf team is next in action when it hosts the MCAC conference tournament, April 23-24at the Eagle Bend Golf Course in Lawrence.
