Two games will be made up as a doubleheader rescheduled for Thursday, April 19, with the first game to start at 3 p.m.

LEAVENWORTH, Kan.– The Haskell softball team's short drive down I-70 to take on the University of St. Mary will have to wait a month, thanks to some threatening skies looming over the greater Kansas City metro area Wednesday afternoon and evening. The Indians were scheduled to play the Spires in a doubleheader, with the first game starting at 2 p.m. in Leavenworth. Instead the two games will be made up in the same doubleheader format, but five weeks later, on Thursday, April 19, starting at 3 p.m.

Coach Joe Bointy's club has another day to rest before their next set of contests, which takes them to Stephens College in Columbia, Mo. The double-dip with the Stars gets underway at 2 p.m. in the Show Me State. The Indians will look to notch their first win of the season at Stephens after dropping their first four to start the 2012 campaign.
