Junior is the highest placing Indian in Southwestern Christian Tournament after Day #1
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -- After the first of day of competition at the Southwestern Christian Tournament, Haskell junior Derek Frick is in an eight-way tie for 25th, with his first round 74 score.
Frick who is four over par, will have another 18 holes to improve upon his standing as he and teammates Randy Tate and Josh Little Axe compete during the second day of competition on Tuesday.
Little Axe finished the first round in 62nd place with a score of 95 (+25), while Tate was seven shots better with his 88 (+18) and 57th place standing.
The trio of Indians were the only Purple and Gold golfers on the links in Oklahoma City, so there was no team score to report. Check back with haskellathletics.com for final stats and recaps following the final day of competition.
